Environmental

At Alambique Guarani, sustainability means generating results for the business and promoting the socio-environmental development of our community.

Sugarcane Bagasse

After drying, the bagasse is used as fuel in the steam-generating boiler. The remaining bagasse is sent for composting, where it serves as a carbon source. Mixed with cattle manure and under controlled moisture and temperature, the final process produces organic compost. This compost is used in corn and bean fields, pastures, and sugarcane plantations, greatly contributing to achieving excellent productivity.

Vinasse

After cooling and stabilization, it is transported by tanker truck to the planting areas and sprayed by pumping. It is used as an important fertilization source because it is rich in Phosphorus, Nitrogen, and Potassium, with levels controlled through semiannual soil analyses.

Heads and Tails Cachaça

It is strictly separated and completely converted into fuel alcohol used in the Fazenda's vehicles.

Industrial and Sanitary Effluent

All sanitary effluent is directed to a septic tank, and all water resulting from cleaning processes is reused for irrigating the gardens around the Alambique.

Conscious Water Use

The cooling water used in industrial processes is fully reused.

Solid Waste Management

All solid waste is sorted, with paper, plastic, glass, and metal being sold, and organic waste sent for composting.
