BAGASSE
Once dry ,bagasse is used as fuel in boiler. Remaing waste of the prior is sent to be used in the composting process, where the bagasse enters as a source of carbon, which is mixed to cattle manure and under control of humidity and temperature is then turned into Organicic Compound. Finally,the resulting organic compound is applied as fertilizer in areas where corn, beans, sugar cane , pastures are grown.This contributes a lot to achieve excellent productivity.
VINASSE
After cooling and stabilization this byproduct is transported by tank car to crop areas for being sprinkled out on the soil thus taking part in the process as an important source of phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium, and their levels are checked through analysis of soils every semester.
HEAD AND TAIL FRACTIONS
They are rigorously separated during the process and all turned into ethanol fuel used in the vehicles of the farm.
INDUSTRIAL AND SANITARY WASTERWATER
All the sanitary effluent is drained in a septic tank, and the entire waste water resulting from cleaning process is reused for irrigation of the gardens surrounding the Distillery.
SUSTAINABLE WATER USE
The cooling water used in the industrial process is totally reused.
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
All solid waste is separated, and paper, plastic, glass and metal are marketed and organic matter is sent for composting.
